TaylorMade was founded in 1979 by Gary Adams, who, as an interesting aside, mortgaged his house to finance the launch of the company. The brand's adventure began with a historic innovation: bringing the first stainless steel driver to market. This revolutionary product marked a turning point in the golf industry.

In the early 2000s, TaylorMade ventured into the production of technical and innovative golf balls, thus broadening its offering.
