• Scratch handicap (0): Represents a very experienced golfer who plays regularly, consistently shooting below par. Below a handicap of 0, players enter the semi-professional and professional category. This type of player looks for a ball suited to their game and high-performing.
• Handicap 0–15: Characterises experienced players who know the game well, but who still have room for improvement. They play between 1 and 15 shots above par. The pursuit of performance can define the type of golf balls to buy.
